Would this run WoW well?
Can this play WoW well on MINIMUM graphics?
AMD Athlon™ II X4 630 + ATI Radeon HD 4200 is the basic, and I’m NOT looking for top performance. My current computer is a 9 year old Dell so i’m more in it for performance.
Would that setup run, say, 25man raids and Alterac Valley with minimum lag if the graphics were all the way down?
And if not, is it worth $50 to get the AMD Athlon™ II X4 630 + ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB?
It’d be nice if you provded other facts, like the Memory and the Hard Drive Space.
At Best Buy or Target or something you could get 5-6 GB memory, and up to 1 TB of hard drive on computers for about $500. That’ll come with a tower a keyboard and mouse. Maybe even cheaper if it’s just the tower and you can provide the mouse and keyboard.
Then you can use the monitor your using or buy yourself a bigger monitor (around $120 or more for a good sized monitor). Or just use the monitor you have now.
You need memory if you want to multitask and have your computer be able to do lots of stuff. Just try to get the highest stats for the lowest money.
As far as lag, sometimes it’s just your internet connection. YOu can’t change that. As long as you have a high-speed connection (DSL or cable or FiOs or whatever else) you should be fine. The only thing is make sure you have a WIRED connection to the internet for online, especially on a desktop. Wireless will make your computer go slower. Buy a long ethernet cable if you have to.
